My grandfather opened a watch-repair counter on Rampart Row in 1968. Three generations later we design our own watches, but every one still passes across that counter: regulated, pressure-tested and checked by hand before it ships. And we still change straps and batteries for free.

Every movement crosses our counter
Before a watch ships, we open it up, check the gear train, regulate the balance wheel and pressure-test the case. An automatic's rotor winds the mainspring as your wrist moves; wear it for a day and it runs for around 40 hours off the wrist.
